The primary objective of the Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership mentoring experience is to facilitate "connections" between students and successful women. What evolves from the connection will be different for each student and mentor. Mentor Relationships begin with an initial face-to-face meeting (about an hour) that serves as a way for the parties to get introduced and learn about each other. If the pair agrees to work together, they arrange for follow up meetings once a month during the semester. The follow up meetings can be in person, email or telephone calls-whatever serves the needs of those involved. The secondary objective is to offer the students a chance to see business leaders "in action." Students are encouraged to arrange a "shadow" experience with their mentor. Whether an hour or a day, this visit to the workplace gives students a chance to get a feel for what it is like to work in the mentor's shoes.

Mentoring Relationships offer a leadership bridge to the next generation of successful women. If you would like to receive information on how to become a mentor, click here to fill out our contact request form.
